I agree, AI words, images and video are extremely unsettling (to me). It's everything but human created. In fact the most non-human thing anyTHING (in this case, a computer) can generate.

It's like a fever dream. Or some well-detailed hallucination. The words I've read/heard from AI (via people using AI to narrate YouTube videos) has “enough” human-like mannerisms and gestures, but that makes it that much more perverse. I don't want to know of or about something mimicking human nuance.

The controversy in the Blaugust community regarding use of AI, is well grounded. I agree it should just be done away with in regards to images/writing, as it isn't truly putting ++a thing++ (eg a creation BY a human, and FOR a human, and for OTHER humans) to read, take away from.

To create a site, blog, entry, video, piece of music – regardless of perceived quality, accuracy, professionalism or any other outcome – just “wing it” and make the art. Fall down and learn or fall down and learn less. Succeed on one's own accord, 1000% or succeed and move on with the confidence that they made ++the thing++ and it was a craft of personal expression and effort, no time spent on machine assistance.
